Surveys solve future problems
When we are at the job site we might be hundreds of miles away from a city, or even from land. This is not the time to realize that a crucial spare part is still on back order with the suppliers. When crew costs can sometimes surpass the rigs day rate, having tools down can be catastrophic for the bottom line…
After being involved in hundreds of audits across 4 continents, we know that a simple checklist will not cut it. In the heat of the day and in the middle of a busy depot, even the most conscientious auditor can get jaded or make mistakes. There needs to be double and triple redundancy in place, without undermining the authority of those responsible for this important job…
We know from experience exactly what needs to be done. We are as thorough as possible without disrupting the synergy of the important preparation process. Our broad based experience can help us identify spare parts, tools, or service equipment incompatibilities. These can be rectified way ahead of an emergency situation where you realize that you have an equipment mismatch, or that something is missing altogether.
Our technical equipment survey process
We have created a multi step plan that is easy to follow, but also completely thorough. This process was created by integrating the standard operating procedures of around 10 different top companies. We then eliminated any duplication and the refined the rest.
This means that you will achieve that balance between attention to detail, and the team working in harmony and getting the job done as quickly as possible, without errors creeping in.
As with all of our survey services, we allow you the opportunity to keep a full report of our methods and findings. Our technical equipment surveys are as detailed as necessary, but ordered and categorized for easy reference during the months and years ahead.
